Fishing in the river (permit required), trout and salmon if your lucky, use of boat, swimming permitted in the river, lovely walks or bike ride along the tow path makes this a lovely holiday location. Local shop at Lomelec(2k), supermarket at Languidec(9k).
Hennebont is a lovely town with a good range of shops, bars and restaurants.
The nearest beach is at Port Louis which faces Lorient across the estuary mouth with its extensive shopping and leisure facilities, and the famous Celtic Festival in early August.
In 2017 there will be a contemporary art festival called "Art in the Blavet Chapels" from the 7 July - 17 September 2017
