Port Manech is at the mouth of the Belon river, which is famous for one of the worlds best oysters. The little port area is surrounded by houses, a hotel, bar and local shop, and the local sandy beach looks across the river mouth. The property is older is style, modestly furnished, and well equipped for an excellent value holiday within walking distance of the beach and village centre. Nearby Pont Aven is famous for its artists, notably the impressionist Paul Gauguin, and is still today a great attraction.

This English owned property is very well equipped, but the furniture is old fashioned and is gradually being replaced. Despite this the location is excellent and the price is very reasonable.
The nearest shop(200m) is good for daily supplies, there is a bar at the beach, and supermarket, bars and restaurant at Nevez(5k).
The bathing huts along the fine sandy beach at Port Manech reflect it’s popularity at the turn of the 19th and 20th C. A walk along Pointe de Bed ar Vechen allows you magnificent views of the islands in the bay.
