The property is in a very pleasant district of Morgat called Le Bois du Kador with shops and restaurants within about 800m (uphill walk home). The nearest sandy beach (1k) is a lovely crescent shaped beach with a beach club for children, windsurfer and surfboard hire. The village has a public indoor pool with water slides, tennis courts, bike hire, and horse riding (2k). The nearest town is Crozon, 2k, an attractive little market town. The little town of Camaret, about 6k, on the other side of the peninsula, has boat trips out to the island of Sein which is 8k off the Pointe de Raz. This region is renowned for its unspoilt coastline and sandy beaches, and it is a great area for coastal walks along the cliff tops. The property is about 30 minutes from Brest, about an hour and a quarter from Roscoff and 3 hours from St Malo.
"We had a lovely holiday in Morgat.
We really liked the location of the house. It was in a very quiet leafy residential area - a real peaceful haven. But it was only a short walk down to the centre of town with all the restaurants, shops and beach. All very convenient. It was easy to spend the afternoon playing on the beach and then just amble back up to the house. It was also plenty close enough to walk down to the bakery in the morning to buy breakfast. "

"The owner was very responsive to some minor plumbing problems and very pleasant to deal with. The house was a ten minute walk to the main town centre and beach and set in gardens of about 4 acres - ideal for children to play in."
