A truly beautiful Breton peninsula, Crozon, has magnificent beaches and great scenary. A great holiday location.
The sea lashes at spectacular cliffs and clues of it’s earlier occupation gives the gently rolling countryside a powerful sense of history. Crozon’s four bracing headlands give fine panoramic views over the Atlantic and other Finistere points. The excellent holiday town of Morgat offers good local shopping watersports and cave exploration both by sea and on foot. Crozon itself has a lively seasonal market, an indoor swimming pool and tennis courts. The quiet seaside resort of Camaret sur Mer with sandy beaches, surfing and clear blue water is close to dramatic coastal scenery.
"I have never seen such a well-provisioned villa. We tried to find an item that was not in the villa - all my husband and I could come up with was a tea cosy!!!
We were unlucky with the weather but the food, wine and panoramic views more than made up for this!
Finally, the exceptional welcome we received from the owners upon our arrival. They left us some locally produced items, including a bottle of cider, a jar of honey a tin of pate and some flowers. At the end of our stay, we needed to leave at 04:30 in order to catch the ferry home and the owners came to see us off at 04:15."
