The village of Beg Meil has a few shops, bars and restaurants and you can take boat trips to Concarneau, and the Ils Glenans. These are a protected group of islands renowned for their crystal clear water and abundant wildlife. Diving trips. Quimper and Concarneau are both within an easy drive and are good sized towns with extensive shopping and leisure facilities.
