Bath/shower rooms 2, Beach <5k, Property for 2, Supermarket <1k, Walk to things
This very pretty cottage has been tastefully renovated to a high standard with exposed stone walls, beams and a large fireplace with wood-burning stove. We think this house is ideally situated as it is on a no through lane in a peaceful hamlet and just a short walk to the village and a short drive to the beautiful sandy beach at Kerfany-les-Pins. One of our favourite Brittany properties.
The interior is delightful; it is
colourfully decorated and attractively furnished in contemporary style.
Ground floor: Spacious living /dining room with comfortable seating,
television, DVD, CD and wood burning stove. The kitchen is very attractively
fitted with light coloured wooden cupboards and equipped with 4-ring hob,

machine and fridge-freezer in the newly extended area. Shower room with
large shower cubicle and WC.
First floor: Two very attractive double bedrooms: each with a sitting area, an
en suite shower room and W.C.

The house is situated 600m from the village of Moelan-sur-Mer, which has shops, a couple of cafés and restaurants, a large supermarket and a market on Tuesday mornings. Moelan is about 10k southeast of Pont Aven and 10k from Quimperlé. The countryside around is pretty and there are lovely little coves and creeks to explore at Merrien, Brigneau and Belon. The coastal path here is very picturesque in this uncommercialised part of South Brittany. There is a beautiful sandy beach at Kerfany les Pins about 10 minutes drive, with an excellent restaurant (mostly seafood) overlooking the sea. Le Pouldu, a pretty little resort with 3 sandy beaches, is about 10k. There are good facilities at the picturesque old town of Quimperlé, swimming pool, tennis courts, a couple of nice restaurants and picturesque half-timbered houses in attractive old streets. Pont Aven, about 10k is famous for its Gauguin connections and has many art galleries. It is in a lovely setting with the river flowing through the centre of the town. This is a wonderful area, with something for everyone.
"Well located for visits to a number of good places in the area - the house and the garden are delightful."

"The house is sweet - really spacious and it is great to have two big bedrooms each with en-suite - the garden is lovely - you can walk into the village, which has good shops and a small supermarket, and it?s quick to get to the beach. The area is lovely and the coastal path great for walking."
