This little house is in a great position, a short walk from the little village of St Philibert and about a 20-minute walk from the sea at Trévignon, where the beaches are of fine white sand. It is about 13k from Concarneau, with its remarkable walled city and its great choice of restaurants and shops.

it is spacious, light and well equipped; we think it is a very good holiday

The house is situated in the hamlet of Kerléo, a short walk from the little village of St Philibert (about 800m) which has a restaurant, pharmacy and bar. During the summer holidays there is a small food shop open 7 days a week at the campsite at the crossroads between Kerléo and St Philibert (about 500 metres). Bike hire is also available here. There are more shops, restaurants and two supermarkets at Tregunc, 6k. The port of Treveignon is a 20 minute walk where there is an excellent creperie called la Marinière which overlooks the harbour where you can see the fishing boats come in. Fresh fish and shellfish are sold at the port and there is a local organic market on Sunday mornings. It is about 13k from Concarneau, with its remarkable walled city and its great choice of restaurants and shops. This is also a great area for cycling. There are many activities in the area: water sports, boat hire, canoeing, boat trips out to the Iles Glénans and a large indoor water park, Les Balnéides, at Fouesnant, about 23k. The property is about 12k from Pont Aven, famous for its artists, 30k from the chic resort of Bénodet and 35k from Quimper, a beautiful cultural city.
"Beautiful area. We loved the fact that we were in the countryside but only 30 minutes walk from the beach - or 5 minutes in the car. The boulangerie / local shop within walking distance was great. We loved the Pointe de Tr‚vignon, boats, harbour, caf‚s etc. The choice of different beaches was great and the nearby towns and villages were all very beautiful. All the people we met were very friendly. The house was perfect for a holiday home. Open plan living all on one level was great with the children - the garden lovely and the fact that the garden has full sun all day lovely as well!"

"The holiday was better than we expected, we loved the area, the beaches were great, never crowded. We were amazed at the quietness of the area; apart from Concarneau and Pont Aven you wouldn?t have believed it was the height of the holiday season, it was so unspoilt. We would definitely recommend you to others, we were really impressed with the friendly and personal service we received. "

"Your local agent really went out of her way to make us feel welcome at this cottage, she was very accommodating, especially as we arrived late due to car problems.
Peaceful, peaceful, peaceful. Not just the house and surrounding immediate area, but even the area around Tr‚gunc and the coast - very little traffic. Usually we had the beaches almost to ourselves! The location is fantastic - 10 minutes to Pont-Aven and 10 minutes to Concarneau plus Tr‚gunc is a great little shopping town. We have not stopped raving about Brittany since we returned. It was a great mix of culture, architecture and nature all at an extremely reasonable price. We found things in Brittany to be far less expensive than Normandy, and of course Paris. The people were extremely friendly."
