Bath/shower rooms 1, Beach <5k, Pool, Property for 2, Seaside
Two pretty little cottages (see also SIZ1491) have lots of charm and character, with exposed stone walls and beams. They are situated in a small farming hamlet in the grounds of the French owners’ property, overlooking fields and open countryside, and share a pool and the grounds. We think this is a great place for families: a lovely rural setting, pool on site and a short drive to terrific beaches.
The property is cheerfully decorated in
bright colours creating a warm and cosy atmosphere
Ground floor: Open-plan living room with comfortable seating, TV and decorative
(but not working) fireplace, dining furniture and French windows opening onto
the private terrace The kitchen area is attractively fitted with cooker,
fridge and dishwasher. There is a washing machine in an outbuilding shared
with the other cottage. Shower room and WC. First floor: Steep,
open-tread stairs to double and twin bedrooms with access to bedroom two
through bedroom one. . Electric
heating.
Outside:
The cottages are arranged so that they do not overlook one another and each
property has its own private terrace with stone barbecue and garden furniture
for outdoor dining. The beautiful swimming pool (10 x 4.2m) and the very
large enclosed garden are shared. The garden also has swings and a large
grassy area, ideal for children to play. Parking within the property.
Notes: Electricity
is included in high season, but is charged extra at other times of the year
because the heating is electric. Cot and high chair available on request. Babysitting available if requested in

The hamlet of Kerséon is situated about 5k from Audierne on Cap Sizun, between the north and south coast of this narrow south west point of Brittany, about 3k from the beach at Lesven. Audierne, is a picturesque seaside town, famous for its prawns, with a good range of shops, restaurants, cafés and a very nice beach at St Evette. There is a good market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Local activities include tennis, horse riding, golf and good surfing beaches at Cap Sizun. There is much to explore in this part of Brittany: Pointe de Raz, 10k, the Land’s End of Brittany, Ile de Sein, about 8k off the coast, the cliffs at the Baie des Tréspassés and the cultural town of Quimper, about 30k. Audierne is about an hour and a half’s drive from Brest airport and about two and a half hours from Roscoff.
"The owner was very welcoming and friendly. She was very approachable and also kept her distance. We took our bikes and enjoyed being able to cycle to nearby Audierne and Pont Croix along the riverside. There was a lovely creperie in Pont Croix near the gothic church. We particularly like the way the property was in a safe location, with a swimming pool , near cycle ways. We would certainly use Susan Paradise again, and have recommended it to friends."

"Delightful French owner and her family. Wonderful area. Unspoilt beaches. Swimming pool and garden undersold in your advert. "
