The property is in a very pleasant district of Morgat called Le Bois du Kador with shops and restaurants within about 800m (uphill walk home). The nearest sandy beach (1k) is a lovely crescent shaped beach with a beach club for children, windsurfer and surfboard hire. The village has a public indoor pool with water slides, tennis courts, bike hire, and horse riding (2k). The nearest town is Crozon, 2k, an attractive little market town. The little town of Camaret, about 6k, on the other side of the peninsula, has boat trips out to the island of Sein which is 8k off the Pointe de Raz. This region is renowned for its unspoilt coastline and sandy beaches, and it is a great area for coastal walks along the cliff tops. The property is about 30 minutes from Brest, about an hour and a quarter from Roscoff and 3 hours from St Malo.
"Morgat was very lovely - great beach and picturesque surrounding area. We had a great boat trip from Le Fret to Oceanopolis in Brest, which was a fantastic day out."
Mrs J - (8/2007)
"The house was perfect - roomy - a quiet and private environment - walking distance to shops and beach. We loved the area and its many varied beaches."
Mr and Mrs H - (7/2007)
