Kerleven is a small residential area surrounding the popular beach. There is a small shop and bar. You can walk to the large marina. Foret Fouesnant is a short drive where there are more small shops, bars and restaurants. It is not far to drive into the large town of Concarneau. Fouesnant is in the centre of an area of lush and fertile valleys which looks across to the Iles de Glenan. There are dozens of cider makers in the Fouesnant area, a Cider Festival takes place the third week of July when women wear traditional costumes and distinctive headdresses. Cap Coz is one of Fouesnant’s three small fishing ports the other two are Beg-Meil and Mousterlin.
