Close to the country town of Fouesnant, and within a short drive of the important fishing port of Concarneau, with its much visited ancient citadel, and the cathedral city of Quimper, which has a lovely old quarter of tiny shops and a weekly market. The property is a modern house in the sought after beach area of Cap Coz, within a short walk of the beach.

Cap Coz is a spit jutting out into Baie de la Foret with a superb safe beach, very popular in summer with bars and cafes lining the access road. The local town of Fouesnant is a small French town with supermarkets, bars, restaurants and an excellent weekly market.
The well known resort of Benodet, is about 10 minutes drive and has an excellent range of bars and restaurants plus a casino. You can take boats trips to a wide range of destinations from the port.
Quimper,15 minutes away, is an excellent shopping and cultural centre.
Fouesnant. The town is in the centre of an area of lush and fertile valleys which looks across to the Iles de Glenan. There are dozens of cider makers in the Fouesnant area, a Cider Festival takes place the third week of July when women wear traditional costumes and distinctive headdresses.
