Financial Protection
When booking with us you are fully protected for both the initial deposit and final balance in the unlikely event of our insolvency, by an insurance policy called Bond Plus. If you book a package which includes the ferry then this protection is automatically included under an EU directive. This is not required for villa rental only but for your own protection we have decided to add it to all these reservations at an additional cost of £10.
Should you not require this cover it can be removed at your request.

CLAIM EVENT COVER
The Underwriters agree to pay up to the Holiday Cost paid by each Customer in respect of:-
SECTION 1 - FINANCIAL LOSS
The cost relating to any paid and non-refundable section of the travel or accommodation arrangements, including pre-arranged and paid attractions, forming part of an inclusive holiday pre-booked with the Coverholder on behalf of the Customer and whose name appears on the invoice, which is necessarily and unavoidably cancelled prior to departure of the Customer due to the bankruptcy or liquidation of the Coverholder.
SECTION 2 - HOLIDAY CURTAILMENT
The cost relating to curtailment of any non-refundable part of the arrangements as detailed in (1) above on a pro-rata basis due to bankruptcy or liquidation of the Coverholder whilst the Customer is on the booked holiday/trip.
SECTION 3 - RETURN HOME EXPENSES
The cost relating to reasonable travel and accommodation costs necessarily incurred by the Customer in returning home in the event of bankruptcy or liquidation of the Coverholder provided the holiday has commenced and these costs are authorised by our Emergency Assistance Provider.
