Cote de Penthievre
Majestic Cap Frehel, on the Cote de Penthievre marks the centre of this new region which we are introducing in 2009. The coast is lined with beaches and where pink limestone cliffs and windswept headlands jut out into the sea create an impressive landscape.

To the west is Pleneuf Val Andre, Erquy, Sables d'Or les Pins and Pleherel Plage and to the east is St Cast, between them boasting over 20 superb beaches from wide sweeping bays of firm sand to small quiet bays. And all this less than an hour from the ferry port of St Malo.
Pleneuf Val Andre
Originally no more than a quiet fishing harbour the town was transformed in the late 19th century when developers turned it into one of Brittany's most sophisticated holiday resorts. With a beautiful sandy beach 2k long it soon became very popular.
Erquy
A really lively summer resort lying just behind two magnificent sandy bays. The town is famous for its scallops and clams, and trawlers leave daily from the port. Beyond the town there are 8 more bays, surrounding the Cap d'Erquy, where an easy stroll rewards visitors with stunning panoramas across the Baie de St Brieuc and Pointe de Pleneuf.
Sables d'Or-Les Pins
This resort with its smart villas was created in the early 1920's as a rival to Deauville. With a 3k long sandy beach and pine trees it is a very popular summer location. There is also a casino which like the resort is small and charming.
Cap Frehel
This spectacular headland is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Brittany. Heathland covered with heather and gorse stretches to infinity, and sheer limestone cliffs rise vertically from the sea to heights of 70m. The view from here stretches from the Points de Groin in the east to the Ile de Brehat in the west. In clear weather it is even possible to see the Channel Islands. Sae birds such as fulmars, kittiwakes, cormorants, guillemots and puffins nest in nooks in the cliffs and on neighbouring small islands. There are two lighthouses, the larger of which is open to the public.
St Cast
Now a popular resort has no less than 7 beaches and in summer is a bustling resort. With the beach right by the town, with a good range of restaurants and bars this is a great seaside holiday spot. You can take a trip in the Dragous, an old sailing boat, to visit the cliffs around Cap Frehal from the sea, a really great experience.
