Nantes was the capital of Brittany in the middle Ages and is, therefore,
rich in history and still remains to a large extent Breton in its customs
and traditions today. Nantes is renowned for it's festivals and annual

La Baule - One of the leading resorts on the French
Atlantic coast, with a very beautiful beach several km long. A seafront

salt is still produced.
